The @ncbn government continues to suppress the voices of the people and the opposition. After the takedown of our official Instagram handle earlier this year, the official YSRCP Facebook page has now been made inaccessible in India.

This is not just an attack on YSRCP; it is an attack on democratic values and freedom of expression. We only reveal facts, expose the government’s failures and corrupt practices, and bring to light issues that affect the people. Silencing an opposition party’s official handles, there by opposition voices for speaking the truth sets a dangerous precedent and is most undemocratic.

From cases being filed against those questioning the government on expenditure profligacy associated with Amaravati capital development, irregularities in the DSC process, TTD ghee tenders, and other matters of public importance bringing to light appropriate evidence of rampant corruption, to the restriction of critical content online, a disturbing pattern is emerging.

We will challenge these unfair actions through every legal and constitutional avenue. No intimidation, censorship, or misuse of institutions can silence the voice of the people. We remain committed to holding those in power accountable and defending the fundamental right to freedom of speech and expression.

We demand the immediate restoration of the official page in the interest of democracy and to uphold the constitutional spirit.

Some time back, I had shared a few thoughts regarding the kind of election strategy we may need going forward, especially in urban Andhra Pradesh and among Gen-Z voters.

I understand that the Tech Force initiative has now started, which is a positive step. But one concern many people genuinely have today is about privacy and fear of harassment under the current Kutami government. Because of this, many youth, IT professionals, and even supporters living in AP or Hyderabad may hesitate to openly register their details on a public platform.

In fact, NRIs may feel more comfortable participating since they do not face the same ground-level pressures. But urban youth within India may still prefer to stay silent despite supporting the party internally.

Instead of relying only on public registrations, perhaps a more personal and secure outreach model could also be explored:

• Direct tele-calling and one-to-one engagement
• Building trusted local coordinators quietly
• Creating secure Telegram/WhatsApp groups after verification
• Conducting small in-person meets regularly to build confidence and long-term connection

Many supporters who moved to Hyderabad or other metro cities still emotionally connect with Andhra politics, but because elections are still some time away, they may not actively come forward unless there is continuous engagement and trust-building.

Another important point — there are also a few things we can learn from the way Vijay is attempting candidate selection and public connect. Politics today needs relatable faces. Building an ecosystem where opportunities are given not only to traditional politicians, but also to engineers, doctors, teachers, auto drivers, entrepreneurs, and grounded professionals can create stronger emotional connection with common people.

People tend to trust leaders who come from among them and understand their daily struggles directly.

Urban Gen-Z may not always speak loudly today, but they will shape tomorrow’s political direction. Starting early and building trust quietly could make a huge difference in the future.
