Excited to share our new JACS paper! 🎉 We achieve controlled/living synthesis of two types of MIPs (polyrotaxanes and polydaisy chains) via ROP of mechanically interlocked monomers. Thanks to Prof. Zhang for the fantastic collaboration! Stay tuned! 🔬

BREAKING NEWS
The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award the 2025 #NobelPrize in Chemistry to Susumu Kitagawa, Richard Robson and Omar M. Yaghi “for the development of metal–organic frameworks.”
I count myself very privileged to have an opportunity to present this Mini Review—which summarizes the Stoddart group’s 56-year journey of adventure and achievements in relation to cyclodextrins—in @CCSChemistry with input from @enxu_liu@changxiashi@sirfrasersays.
A seat is always reserved for @sirfrasersays — though he is no longer with us, his presence, spirit, and friendship are felt in every presentation. We miss him deeply. Stoddart Memorial Symposium @HKUniversity
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Prof. Sir Fraser Stoddart on Dec. 30, 2024.
To honor his extraordinary contributions to science and his enduring legacy, the Prof. Sir Fraser Stoddart Memorial Lecture will be delivered by Prof. David Leigh on ISMSC2025.
Thank you @aprahamian for sharing the information. After I presented it to Fraser, he said he was too excited to sleep. He always encouraged me to overcome challenges during experiments, telling me it is significant and far-reaching research. So sad Fraser left us @sirfrasersays
I completely agree with you @DeanAstumian Fraser was always steadfast in his selfless support of students and young scholars. His wisdom, kindness, and generosity profoundly guided and helped countless young scientists. He will be forever missed 🙏🙏🙏@sirfrasersays
Fraser was always more interested in the success of students (his own and those of others) than in his own success, which is perhaps partly the reason for his own success. I only knew him from 2004, I understand he was less mellow at the start of his career.

Many thanks to @beth_halford for conducting the interview and writing this nice article in @cenmag that highlights our research on dynamic supramolecular snub cubes. @sirfrasersays@Nature https://t.co/5Dn6aDFrOY
🎉 Huge congrats to Profs. Hu Wenping, Wang Yu, and Wu Huang on their groundbreaking research published in @Nature! 🌟 Their work on dynamic supramolecular snub cubes (SSCs) marks a major leap in the field.
We also take a moment to honor the late Prof. Fraser Stoddart, whose wisdom and legacy continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. 🕊️ RIP. @YuWang1992@sirfrasersays@YuWang1992@HKUniversity@NorthwesternU
