Meet Baby Bear 🐾💛 Also known as Big Bear, or simply BB if you prefer!
Bear was rescued in Somaliland after falling victim to the illegal wildlife trade, a threat that continues to impact countless cheetah cubs every year.
When he arrived at CCF, Bear was just three weeks old and needed round-the-clock care. Because he was so young, his first weeks in our care were challenging, but thanks to the dedication of our team, he has made incredible progress.
Now, after more than a month in our care, Bear is six weeks old, healthy, full of energy, and growing stronger every day. 🐆✨
If you'd like to support cubs like Bear, please consider making a donation or adopting a cheetah. Every contribution helps us provide life-saving care to cheetahs in need.

It's winter here in Namibia! ❄️🐆
As temperatures drop, we make sure our resident cheetahs have plenty of warm, comfortable places to rest at night.
That is especially important for our oldest residents, Peter and Tigerlily. At nearly 16 years old, they appreciate a little extra comfort, so we've added additional insulation to their night house and made sure their hay beds are nice and cosy.
Judging by this video, they're making the most of it, snuggled up together and staying warm through the chilly winter nights.
