The oldnavy clearance rack gets my full support. Got these jeans for $8 a few months ago and this velvet tank top for $2 a few weeks ago. 🙌🏼🙌🏼 #OldNavy#BargainFinds @ Kansas City, Missouri https://t.co/DLqKwYl9sa
I have sympathy but def. not empathy for those who complain about their current lives but aren’t willing to do somethin to change their outcome. Most of us through society were given the same exact tools that set us up for failure. Either change your rusty ole tools or hush up.
I wish people would start having more in-depth conversations. Like what are your goals? What are you dreams, your desires? What do you want out of this life? Instead of.. how was your day? #IHateSmallTalk
Most of us look forward to TWO days out of the week.. 2days which are usually spent doing the chores tht we didn’t get to do during the wk bc of how exhausted we were. How can people be satisfied living a life like tht..or do they just not realize it? Ask yourself WHY?
Why did you go to school, to get into debt so that you could get a job that will only allow you to spend 4 hours a night w/ your fam in which you are only allowed to earn 2, maybe 3 weeks of vacation. Time that you have earned- yet you still have to ask to use it...
“No means no” doesn’t only apply to sex. It also applies when your friends say they don’t want to drink anymore, when they say they don’t feel comfortable w affection, when they say they don’t smoke weed. Respecting people’s boundaries doesn’t only mean when it comes to sex
My best friend, my confidante, my protector. My dream life, is the life we’re building. Thank you for being willing to work extremely hard for 5 years with me so that we can love a life most others never will. #iloveyou#marriage#NewProfilePic
@EdumacatorMike Too many people settle, just because they want that marriage license and believe that it allows them to check off another box in order to be considered an accomplished human by society standards.
I remember when Daron & I first started dating, a friend told me “he’ll stop treating you like that in a year” now we’ve been together for 4.. and today I was talking about him with a group of married women and they said “oh it’s cause you’re still in the honeymoon stage..”
@EdumacatorMike Very true. It does take hard work and dedication, but I also think it’s important to hold high standards from the beginning of the relationship and to set those standards.
Every day we love each other more, I don’t see that ever changing w/ the type of people that we are. He’s amazing, I just feel terrible anytime I talk to other married women now or women who’ve been in long relationships bc all I think is “you settled & chose the wrong person.”
I don’t understand why people are ok with settling? We are not in a honeymoon stage.. we’ve lived together for 3 years now, we’ve seen the worst parts of each other and every day we continue to work on ourselves to be better for one another bc we push each other.
