A Palestinian man, nervous and excited to become a father, left Rafidia Hospital in Nablus for a quick stop at the local supermarket while his wife was getting ready to give birth to their child.

The Israeli occupation raided the area, and shot him in the head.

He was pronounced dead in the same hospital his son was born in.

I am still alive, despite the worsening conditions every single day. But, can you imagine how tolling it is simply to survive while a genocide is taking place in your beloved home? Can you even begin to imagine?

I need you, my friends. I need you to be louder. I need you to actively engage in putting pressure on the world to stop this nightmare. This includes following and amplifying Palestinian voices, like my own. This also includes continuing to open your eyes and continue learning about the situation and the continuing danger for us from the occupation and total siege on Gaza. It includes loudly calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire and an end to the occupation and siege on Gaza. It includes not being silent when you have the opportunity to use your voice.
