Many didn’t know what to do for the rest of their lives, until they found the answers by investing into the stock market. Others thought they achieved a lot in real life, until they realized those goals were nothing compared to the long-term returns of the stock market.
@kingdomcapadv Because if the combined company can utilize the fcf (3B per year) of $EBAY to stop the current dividend and buybacks, pay down the 20B in 8 years with 7B of current debt of target firm left, cut costs by realizing some synergies, that could suddenly be a total different story.

This is how he averaged 50% per year early on.
Almost no one studies this phase.

“I had 225 stocks of Rs.10 crores in my account. The moment I read Warren Buffett’s letters, I brought it down to 15.”
“In the very first year, those 15 stocks portfolio doubled, Rs. 10 crore became 20 crore. That’s the power of reading Buffett.”
