What a day! We tackled the Portreath to Perranporth coastal path for Farm Safety Week. 3 designers, 12 miles, 700m ascent, 713m descent, plus a 2-hour drive each way. A long but worthwhile day! Donate.

Picking up the Mini on the bank holiday meant a long M5 journey, but it made it home safe and sound.

Mini Adventure Day 3: A trip through Heidelberg, a beautiful place I’d love to properly explore again! Unfortunately, the Mini started knocking and rumbling. We think it’s the front wheel bearings, so we took it easy to Mini Beer & Bretzel in Kembs.

Mini Adventure Day 5 (we don’t talk about Day 4). Rainy morning, so we visited the Schlumph Museum—what a fantastic place full of beautiful cars! Back at camp, Ian, Jeff, Lee and I fixed the Mini for the trip home. Grateful for amazing friends!

Another great day working on the Mini: flushed 40 years of sludge from the heater matrix, fitted a new stereo, refitted the bonnet, and took it for a test drive. Next visit, I’ll be driving it home. Happy days!

Day 11: After a rainy late arrival in Rudolstadt, we explored the park before heading to Frankfurt to reunite with family. Traditional German food, Apfelwein, delicious desserts, and an evening stroll through Niddapark.

Mini Adventure Day 6 began with the Mini Beer and Bretzel parade in Kembs, then a quick electrical repair before the Hasenhorn toboggan coaster in Todtnau. Despite a 2-hour wait, it was worth it—followed by karting in Weil am Rhein. What a day!

Mini Adventure Day 7. On our last day before heading home, we visited Bern, Switzerland. The Aare River and old town were beautiful, and we even saw a bear. We also visited the house where Albert Einstein grew up.
