@obolobova to be fair Denmark is genuinely up there when it comes to having the continent's worst supermarkets when it comes down to solely variety. the quality / freshness of goods is excellent and offered at low prices relative to wages, but the variety offered is subpar.

I was rooting for Switzerland but this is actually the one occasion where VAR completely proves its merit and justifies its existence. Blatant error by the ref, yellow given for a foul not committed because of a shameless dive. Corrected by VAR, innocent goes free, diver punished

That's not to say that the when and where VAR has been used hasn't been a huge issue during the World Cup. It's been atrocious and extremely inconsistent, just like FIFA itself, and has ruined many matches and the damaged legitimacy and experience of the World Cup itself.
