PUNTLAND ELECTIONS RESULTS:

The preliminary results for the local elections in all 30 districts of #Puntland have been announced. KAAH, a political association affiliated with the government, emerged as the winner with 286 seats, securing the highest number of votes/seats in Puntland. MIDEEYE, in second place, secured 211 seats.

The MUSTAQBAL Association has shown significant progress in the #Bari and #Mudug regions compared to the previous elections held in 2021.

However, the competition between political associations will continue in three districts of the #Nugal region, including Garowe, the capital city. The elections in these districts have been postponed and will take place at a later date."
