Remember this: You will always have two choices. You can focus on the mistake. Or you can focus on the One who can fix it. You can focus on the problem, or on the One who can solve it. You can focus on the sin, or on the One who can erase it. Have a good night.

Somali Dışişleri ve Uluslararası İşbirliği Bakanlığı Diplomasi ve Eğitim Enstitüsü Direktörü Büyükelçi Abdulkadir Amin Sheikh bugün Akademimizi ziyaret etmiştir. Görüşmede, iki ülke arasında mesleki eğitime ilişkin işbirliği olanakları ele alınmıştır.
Gratefully reflected on the insightful workshops organized by the @FolkeBernadotteAcade my in Mogadishu, which empowered us with crucial skills in policy-making and diplomatic leadership. Looking back, participating in the follow-up workshop was a valuable opportunity.
Upon assuming my role as the Director of the Somali Diplomatic Institute, I had the opportunity to present a copy of my book, "Ambassador in the Country of Humanity," to His Excellency the Prime Minister, Hamza Barre, during his visit to the institute.
In 1946, Ethopia asked the colonial British to be given 100 miles of the present day Awdal region in exchange for Ogaden region, in order to have an access to the sea. A deal even the colonials rejected, fearing the resentment of Awdal people.
The Unlucky Farm of Awdel
Near Borama city (A week refion) is a farm called "Ayan Darn," (Idhila Biis in Amharic or the unfortunate farm). This farm (Ayan Daran) lies on the border between Somaliland and Ethiopia. The two dividing powers of Ethiopia and Great Britain decided to strike a deal and divide this family owned farm. Like Ayan Daran, the family owned the farm are divided today.
At one point, a distant family of Ayan Daran's owners represented as ambassador for Ethiopia, Somalia, and Djibouti (Ismail, Mohamed and Yusuf - all children of Sheekh Nuuriye).
Like the Kurdis, Somalis are marginalized due to colonial divisions. In addition to past pains, current pains are levied on Somalis by a man called Abiy Ahmed Ali.
Now you know why Awdel people are striking against the Ethio-Somaliland MOU - this modern yet harmful colonial tool us employed this time by Addis Ababa.
Never give up, people of Ayan Daran.
I am filled with great joy as I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all Somalis on the successful completion of the Debt Relief process under the Highly Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) initiative. This momentous achievement deserves our collective appreciation and recognition.
Debt relief under the HIPC initiative means Somalia can now invest more in its people. It's a chance to build a stronger economy and a more inclusive society. Here's to new beginnings! 🌟 #SomaliaDebtRelief#BrightFutureAhead

One of the seven wonders of the ancient world. The Great Wall of China is the longest man-made structure in the world. Construction of this wall took more than three hundred (300) years. Today it’s not just a great wall, it’s a tourist attraction!!
