Decided to look up wether Genshin Impact is Haram according to the Muslim definition and have been introduced to possibly the funniest theological debate of all time
They were, from my recollection, fairly popular too! I’m pretty sure we had more people doing Business than Music at my school! My level 3 qualification is a Creative Media BTEC (that thus far has gotten me into 2 separate universities) - none of this is new!!!
🚨 NEW: Andy Burnham has announced the Government will introduce "Vocational GCSEs" from 2029
The first subjects are set to cover finance, business management, digital tech, creative media and construction
@FTP_ACAB_ If I had people actively directing me at every stage of my routine, I would also very likely not be late. You’re comparing apples and oranges, lol.
As someone who also has ADHD, I unfortunately have the type where I don’t notice the alarm going off. There’s absolutely things you can do to ensure you’re affected as little as possible, but it’s not always as simple as just “setting an alarm”.
As someone with ADHD who has literally never been late for work it really does feel like you guys are just using your disability as an excuse. Set alarms. Take responsibility for your own life.
@YugamiSekaiP I got my Apple Watch secondhand for about £70 (I could have gotten it cheaper, but I wanted a few specific unrelated features), and I’d say it’s definitely worth the price, if not new. I would say go for one that links to phones, because Fitbit ect are mostly fitness based.
@YugamiSekaiP I also think being able to look at a notification without having to pick up my phone or being able to really DO much except immediately reply helps to not get sidetracked as much. I also forget to charge my phone a lot, so it’s helpful then too.
@bigscarymain Even in the best case scenario where someone’s entirely joking, they’ve still spent a solid 45 minutes minimum clipping out of context videos of a pedophile and then trying to catchily edit it, so really at this point there’s no distinction.
@bigscarymain Exactly what it sounds like - I don’t want to put the individual account on blast but, don’t do that lol. I get some of the edits are “jokes”, but honestly at this point even if they are, I think an amnesty of sorts should be observed, at least on TikTok.
@pheebamphetamin My alarm was the Japanese earthquake warning sound for a couple of months and even then I slept through it. I even tried one of those vibrating alarms you put under your pillow and still no success a solid 40% of the time lol
@AdrianPaulBlake I find visual cues tend to help me a bit better, but I do think the final alarm being a different sound is a fab idea, and I’ll be nicking it for when I’m waking up!
@AdrianPaulBlake That’s actually a great idea, unfortunately I’m the former - I genuinely don’t notice, so alarms are pretty useless. I didn’t even realise we’d had an emergency alert recently, because I just assumed it was one of the million alarms I have!
My salary as of this month is £50,483.
Every extra £1 I earn, I lose 51p:
• 40p income tax
• 2p employee NI
• 9p Plan 2 student loan
What’s the point of even trying to increase your income above this point?
@MartinCaldwell Would love to meet all the theoretical people with ADHD who *haven’t* tried the incredibly obvious, fairly low effort approaches at this point.
