@bigheadhcky How many of those Habs signed after the Leo offer sheet? Because only LaCombe signed before it for the Ducks. You're comparing different markets. Give Montreal props for recognizing what was going to happen early and getting their business done. But the rest of your post is crap.
@Joelle05OOPS@FriedgeHNIC So you're saying they should give up on a guy they've developed for two years? His contract is up after the season either way. If he plays well, Verbeek saved money. If he sucks, bad deal. I've seen him play a lot. He's good offensively, questionable defensively, but improving.
@DucksDaily93 Cutter was getting 9-10 million for 8 years.
Then Flyers offer Leo 18x5.
So Cutter got 13.5 x 6 years.
Flyers got Cutter the bag.
If they hadn't broken their promise to play in the NHL,
Flyers would have signed Cutter a year ago for 8 x 8.
Way to go GMDB.
@RinkyReport How's Philly fan going to feel when Cutter eventually signs a contract for $3-5 million more than he would have if the Flyers hadn't given that offer sheet?
@ABC Amazon shipping seems like BS to me. I shopped on my work computer. Amazon had no cookies on that computer linking it to my Prime account. The item came up at $13.99. Then I went to my personal computer to buy it. Now that it knew who I was, the price was all the sudden $17.99.
