what a sequence, instead of making kylo an irredeemable villain who isn’t affected by his actions they immediately show he is weakend by the wicked act and sets up his redemption

This scene from ROTS will always break my heart because although his face can't be seen, I can only imagine the pain and heartbreak on it knowing he'll never see Padmé again.

One of my favourite scenes in Revenge of the Sith. The lighting is incredible, with Anakin constantly caught between light and darkness.

Yoda is telling him what he needs to hear, while Palpatine has been telling him exactly what he wants to hear.

The tragedy is that Anakin chooses which one to listen to.
