The snare is panned to one side by accident. Steve hated it but never said anything until years later!

Even this 7” version is quite long at 5:24 - I think the 12” was around 9 minutes.

It’s one of my favourite New Order songs. Great bass & guitar.

We played Temptation acoustically while Barney would improvise on top. We’d then listen to the live tapes & work on the good bits.

We recorded 2 different versions & took all the best bits for our live version. We also did that with Age of Consent.
