Oh, you’ve somehow managed to stop the Davion Mitchell–Giannis pick and roll?? Congratulations.
Except now Giannis kicks it out to Klay Thompson and he drills his 11th three directly in your face. Heat by 46.
You try going small now? Bam Adebayo smells blood. He currently has 83 points and counting on 36/38 shooting. Spo hasn’t called a play for him since the 1st quarter.
You finally get into the paint? Wrong. Dru Smith is already standing there. CHARGE. That’s his 17th of the game. Your entire backcourt has fouled out.
Fine. Throw it up to Wemby. Nobody can block Wemby, right?
PELLE LARSSON JUST SENT THAT SHIT INTO THE 14TH ROW.
Spo glares at the court with a twinkle in his eye. He hasn’t blinked in 45 minutes.
Pat Riley is sitting courtside in a black Armani suit smoking a cigar indoors. Nobody has the courage to tell him he can’t.
Welcome to Miami Heat basketball.
Neil Young’s ‘Tonight's The Night’ LP remains the single most sinister and insinuating chronicle of the hippie generation’s inexorable drift towards the various death cults of hard drugs, wall-to-wall consumerism and the politics of personal gratification. Let the bad times roll.
@expert_frowner I saw him live twice last month and felt like the way they played some of the Manning Fireworks songs were a bit slower and heavier like that of some Boat Songs tracks so kinda makes sense to go for a LP. I thought it was a cool switch up from the studio versions
It’s honestly been so sick to watch a band like Geese release a genuinely beautiful albeit challenging album to widespread acclaim while the most lauded songwriter of this era gets panned for releasing the most frictionless music imaginable.
You absolutely love to see it.
Flyers have popped up in London, Copenhagen, and reportedly, Bologna advertising Radiohead concert dates for the end of this year. If true, these live shows would be their first in seven years.
