The Steering Committee leads the project, the Secretariat coordinates implementation, government enables rapid response, and the Eminent Persons Group safeguards credibility and ethical integrity.

The work continues with a focus on consolidating roles, strengthening coordination with the Secretariat, and confirming lines of accountability.

Day 1 offered critical inputs, key reflections and handover reports between the structures.

We were reminded about the intention behind the structures, how they are intended to work together and what is expected from each, in the dialogue process.

The National Dialogue intends to engage a minimum of 10 million South Africans over the entirety of the total project.

That Convention launched a long-term, citizen-led process.
We are now in the implementation phase, starting with the induction of the Steering Committee this weekend.

This is where coordination, accountability, and follow-through matter.
