We are very proud of the learning journey that we have embarked upon with some members of the Global Campus Child Leadership Team and Youth Advisory Group during our YouCARE Lab. As we discussed the impact of #climatechange on the #RightToEducation, we shared lived experiences, questions about effective documentation, examples of meaningful empowerment, concerns for safeguarding #ChildrensRights, and ideas for youth-led advocacy strategies. It was truly heartwarming to listen to our participants and see their engagement grow workshop after workshop. Well done everyone!

And of course, a big shout out also goes to all those who made this possible: our wonderful coordinator Delphine Dorsi (RTE); all our fantastic guests Zoi Aliozi, Laure Abado, Jonas Schubert, Vanessa Nakate, Isabelle Kolebinov, and Mother Nature Cambodia; our colleagues in the #GCHumanRights Children’s Rights Department and Children’s Rights Regional Offices; and @rightlivelihood for their enthusiastic support.

The Lab will continue with a crowd-sourced online photo exhibition, a monitoring toolkit and community-based action, so stay tuned for more in the months to come!
