@Jasonjuwk9@andysparks78@robbiefaulk1878 State got disqualified, I fear Miss State got unlucky that their sole national championship will always be subject to scrutiny.
@SmoSportsbook@sc_hoo_1@robbiefaulk1878 Yes, the team that beat Vandy wouldโve been easier. Why pretend that the result would 100% be the same if Covid regulations just allowed for a team to be DQd one win away from the championship series. Be serious.
@vhdawg@robbiefaulk1878@DeeceSpice Never said the game wouldโve gone one way or another, but I do know that the 3-1 loss came when they were allowed to field only 13 players.
@robbiefaulk1878@DeeceSpice The reality is there will most likely never be another team disqualified a game away from the national championship series without breaking any rules. Itโs an oddity that deserves recognition, especially in hindsight knowing that these ball players were not getting the jab.
@DeeceSpice@robbiefaulk1878 In the history of college sports, how many times has a team been disqualified from the championship 1 game away without breaking any rules? Be serious, the trophy sits with msu, but there will always be an asterisk.
