@TheOGfantasy I don’t see it given the historic production and opportunity of inline TEs like Mark Andrew’s and Dennis Pitts before him. Theo Johnson is an ideal candidate to carry the torch.
In Jon Harbaugh’s offenses, the inline tight end has historically been a primary beneficiary of fantasy production.
Andrews, at the peak of his athleticism, was tops in opportunity, and Dennis Pitta was before him.
Theo Johnson is more than an ideal fit for that role.
@seanbanister1 Same. Got him in the 16 of a TEP start-up. I wanted to post about him that earlier but wanted until I got him. 😅I don’t think he’s losing snaps this year.
Brian Thomas Jr. has been getting OTA hype.
But his 2025 utilization under Liam Coen is what still concerns me.
An ADOT of 14.7, in a crowded room, puts him in outlier territory to become a consistent fantasy asset.
He is quite literally in the Mike Evans role, except Evans had a collection of gun-slingers and a HOF QB in Tom Brady, Jameis Winston, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Baker Mayfield.
Marvin Harrison Jr. has been plagued by a similar issue that early-career Davante Adams dealt with.
Wide hands and an underhanded technique.
It prohibits the body from turning to and attacking the ball while sacrificing MHJ’s size advantage.
14 rounds through a 12 team, SF, TEP startup.
My QB2 is a potential issue beyond 2026 and I reached for Jonathon Brooks, but not by much.
ADP doesn’t mean much to the people I’m drafting against which is why I respect the hell out of each of them.
@4thnfantasy@GridironNerd The thing I hate about SF is that it forces you to take a QB2 over other top tier players at other positions. I refused to let it force my hand. I’m very happy with my team.
