If you live in Middle East, you would have many challenges to use social media. Some of them, poor network, prohibited sites, and government control of what you can post. Were you aware of that?
@concordiastephp I would let my kids watch them. For me, they represent the mentality of that time and I feel it is a great opportunity for discussions about how human evolved, how role changes, and how different cultures are more respected.
@BicherJordan Great, finally someone mentioned this point :) I felt that the documentary should cover the recent movies as they changed a lot or to have part 2 at least discussing the change that Disney made.
@BicherJordan I like your point! We take it for granted that it’s accessible but the reality it isn’t. The online learning made me realize that many families cannot offer to buy laptops and cannot offer to have good wifi connection which is unfair.
@Alexand06473048 Totally agree with you but many parents do not have enough knowledge that’s why I liked the idea of some programs mentioned in the reading about schools working with parents and children and raise awareness.
@MSkothos Great point! I can add that teachers do not need to use different platforms because it will become overwhelming to learn many of them before use of them with their students.
