Animalius Vet opened in Feb 2020 with a focus on delivering streamlined, accessible referral services to vets in Perth & beyond. In an architect-designed, purpose-built facility, we have created a beautiful environment for our staff, patients & clients. Would you like to join us?
How do you get quality imaging from a patient whose body is covered in armour? That's a challenge Dr Belinda faced when a #Rottnest Island #Shingleback presented for lameness, which can be a sign of kidney disease that impacts the sciatic nerve, causing the appearance of limping.
Ginny presented with displaced teeth due to a difference in upper & lower jaw symmetry, causing gum irritation & making it painful to close her mouth. Our veterinary dental specialist Dr Kevin Ng - one of only 2 in Australia - corrected Ginny’s abnormality by a #gingivioplasty
At Animalius our team of specialists works together to provide quality patient outcomes. Recently our specialist imaging department and ADC Perth collaborated during Lilly's day hospitalisation. Discover how these specialists worked together in Lilly's vlog!

Taco (and his adorable jumper) presented to our internal medicine and diagnostic imaging teams to investigate episodes of fainting despite high doses of heart medication. We ruled out his heart as a cause, so his vet can now look at airway collapse & medication load.
Have you ever wondered how we perform a CT Scan for your pet? Our beautiful new 64 slice @Siemens#SOMATOM go.Up has special features useful to veterinary imaging such a filter allowing us to image dense bony structures and the brain with unsurpassed detail and minimal artefact.
At Animalius our team of #veterinary specialists collaborate for optimal clinical outcomes; all in one hospital, on one day. This video shows our dermatology clinic collaborating with radiologist Dr Zoe Lenard to treat Mokie the #cat .

Digital radiographs are now widespread in veterinary practice but the transition to digital does not always mean better image quality. Join me & Dr Belinda Hopper in May: ‘Optimising Your Digital Radiography’

It was such an extraordinary experience to see Garrick Ohlsson perform live in #Perth earlier this year. Thank you @MusicaVivaAU and @garrick_ohlsson for making a taste of that experience available to the world on #Vimeo https://t.co/aTAIdRqdXR #Prokofiev#piano
When Oscar suddenly lost his appetite his family vet couldn't find a cause. After blood screening he was referred to #Animalius. Dr Zoe Lenard performed an abdominal #ultrasound which showed no structural causes of inappetence. So at least that could be ruled out.

Becks visited today for an #ultrasound following removal of a cutaneous #hemangiosarcoma which is a malignant & aggressive soft tissue tumour. Sometimes malignant cells from a primary tumour can spread to a secondary site. Our radiologist found no metastasis (or abnormalities)!
