This is Makerere University Guest House Parking. I have a proposal: we deploy here some engineering student interns to sort out this embarrassment. Or may be we hand over the place to kamarabyona MK.
Lord Justice Egonda Ntende’s powerful parting shot hit hard: Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro locked up on a minor, obscure and unproven charge while his wife Edith Katende Mufumbiro lost her battle with cancer. Their young children had to mourn and bury their mother alone. No child should endure this pain. Justice without compassion is empty; it must have a soul.
Thank you, Lord Justice, for speaking truth.
Rest in peace Edith. 🙏🏽 #JusticeForMufumbiro
Ugandan v Okello Christopher Onyum won't like what the law students will do in exams.
Woolmington v DPP & Uganda v Suzan Kigula will get some rest.
The Magistrates Courts (Amendment) Act, 2026,
Before you file that plaint check whether the court has pecuniary jurisdiction because magistrates courts have been clothed with more...
You can read all the books. Watch all the documentaries. Listen to all the stories. But nothing, and I mean nothing, will prepare you for certain moments in life until you're standing in them yourself. Marriage. Divorce. Childbirth. Losing someone you love. Parenting. They all look so different when it's your heart on the line. Your choices. Your pain. Your mess. Your miracle.
It's easy to sit on the outside with theories, opinions, and assumptions. It's easy to think you'd handle it better. Until life turns to you and says, "Your turn." And suddenly, you understand. You understand the tears. The silence. The fight to keep going. The strength it takes to show up when everything feels heavy. The courage it takes to start over.
Life has a way of humbling us all. So be slow to judge, quick to offer grace, and always remember, what you don't understand today, you just might face tomorrow. We're all just figuring it out as we go. And that's more than okay.

Reading Justice Mubiru’s judgments is a risky move when you’re in a hurry - every paragraph feels too important to skip, and before long, you’ve highlighted the whole decision. Best not attempt it on a tight schedule 😊
My first day at MUK Law School, a ninja attended class in Crocs. What can we of the public sector universities say about suits, Oh ninja has a first class so far. We are sorry😂!
