Det her er @pelledragsted Dragsted, som er politiker for Enhedslisten.

Pelle Dragsted tjener omkring 850.000 kr. om året som medlem af Folketinget. Dertil kommer en særdeles generøs pensionsordning, som de fleste almindelige danskere kun kan drømme om.

Han bor i en dyr bolig på Frederiksberg, et af Danmarks mest attraktive og dyreste områder. Og når kalenderen siger ferie, går turen ofte til sommerhuset i Spanien – langt fra den hverdag, mange af de mennesker han taler på vegne af, lever i.

Alligevel bruger Pelle Dragsted meget af sin tid på at forklare andre danskere, at de har for meget.

Ifølge Pelle Dragsted er problemet i Danmark nemlig ikke høje skatter, høje boligpriser eller et af verdens højeste skattetryk. Nej – problemet er, at nogle mennesker stadig har lidt mere tilbage, efter staten har taget sin del.

Pelle Dragsted har aldrig selv skabt en virksomhed, aldrig haft ansvar for en lønudbetaling til ansatte og aldrig risikeret egne penge i en forretning. Men han er meget optaget af at fortælle dem, der gør, at de bør betale endnu mere.

Det er selvfølgelig nemmere at foreslå nye skatter, når lønnen allerede er sikret af skatteyderne, pensionen er garanteret, og boligadressen ligger midt på Frederiksberg.

Man kunne ellers tro, at Pelle Dragsted var lidt mere ydmyg over for de mennesker og virksomheder, der faktisk skaber de værdier, der betaler hans løn.

Men sådan er politik.

👍 I Danmark findes der heldigvis stadig mennesker, der skaber virksomheder, arbejdspladser og velstand.

Og det er måske værd at huske, næste gang nogen fra Frederiksberg med sommerhus i Spanien fortæller os, at vi skal betale lidt mere.

It is only convincing if you aren't paying attention, if you ignore the inconsistency with previous statements, including the ways he attacked people for even suggesting involvement with Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein beyond meeting them in the 90s.
