Zach Mort is looking like a candidate to return to the MiLB or make a move to the NPB/KBO.

Through 87IP in the LMB this season he posted a 4.34 ERA / 3.62 FIP paired with 79 SO - 19 BB. Considering the harsh pitching environments in the LMB, Mort only gave up 10 HR (1 HR/9) which is one of the best among SP.

He threw a 4 pitch mix of FB/SL/CU/SPL with his FB averaging 91 and topping at 95. His fastball continues to showcase "rise ball" characteristics with VAAs as low as -3.6 in the top of the zone.

He did a good job of getting ahead in counts (63 FPS%) and mixing his entire arsenal to all hitters.
