I was in Kano yesterday to witness first hand the current state of the @NgComCommission Digital Innovation Park which was unfortunately vandalised a few months ago.
At the time I mentioned that we would move quickly to restore the facility for the benefit of our citizens, including our @3MTTNigeria fellows who were meant to use the Park for their applied and hands on learning. I am pleased therefore to announce that we have received the support of @IHSTowers who have committed to the full renovation of the location so we can finally put it to good use.
To all our #3MTT fellows in Kano, as I said yesterday, you, together with many young people across Nigeria, represent the future of the global digital workforce, and your dreams and aspirations are valid. It was a pleasure to meet you all and hear some of your inspiring stories.
I also want to thank the Kano State Govt, under the leadership of the Executive Governor, H.E.Engr @Kyusufabba, for the warm welcome and their continued support for our efforts.

🚨 Seeking Justice for Delayed NYSC Certificates Batch A2 2023🚨
The 68 members of NYSC Batch A2 2023 completed their service year in Kaduna with dedication and hope. Despite following all clearance procedures, technical issues in June, July, and August marked them as absent on their dashboards. They promptly reported this issue and wrote a letter, but their Local Government Inspector, Mr. Murtala Gimi (Authorities can DM for contact), assured them there was no problem. Now, due to these absences, they are without their NYSC discharge certificates.
After three months of silence and inaction from the NYSC, their futures hang in the balance. This delay affects their job prospects, further education, and opportunities requiring proof of NYSC completion.
Screenshots of their responses in the WhatsApp group created by them are attached, along with a list of the affected students.
They demand transparency, accountability, and the immediate issuance of their discharge certificates. Mr. Hassan Mahmud Taura, NYSC Coordinator, Kaduna, can be reached at (Authorities can DM for contact). We call on the NYSC @officialnyscng, being a respected government institution in Nigeria, to investigate this case and swiftly release their certificates within 72 hours.
We trust that Governor Uba Sani @ubasanius@GovKaduna will intervene and help resolve this matter swiftly.
Join in calling for justice! Share and amplify their voices for fairness and a swift resolution. ✊
