جاه‌طلبی امریکا دربرابر خواست جهان: سازمان ملل متحد قطعنامه‌ای را برای بازنگری در نقشه جهان و نمایش دقیق‌تر ابعاد واقعی افریقا تصویب کرد. ۱۶۴ کشور رای مثبت دادند، تنها امریکا مخالفت کرد.
