جس امت نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے محبت کا دعویٰ کیا، اسے اللہ نے کربلا میں آزمایا کہ محبتِ رسول ﷺ صرف زبان پر ہے یا ان کے اہلِ بیت کے ساتھ بھی ہے۔ عاشورا یہ اعلان ہے کہ جب باطل دین کا لباس پہن لے تو خاموشی بھی جرم بن جاتی ہے، اور حق کی قیمت کبھی کبھی حسینؑ جیسی قربانی ہوتی ہے۔

اللہ تعالیٰ نے سورۃ البقرہ کے آغاز ہی میں انسانوں کے تین گروہوں کا ذکر کر دیا: مؤمن، کافر اور منافق۔

حق و باطل کی پہلی بڑی لکیر حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام اور فرعون کے درمیان کھینچ دی گئی۔ مؤمن حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام کے ساتھ کھڑے ہوئے اور منکر فرعون کے ساتھ-

کربلا نے ہمیشہ کے لیے واضح کر دیا کہ جب باطل اسلام کا لبادہ اوڑھ لے تو اسے بے نقاب کرنے کے لیے حسینؑ جیسی عظیم قربانی درکار ہوتی ہے۔

کربلا صرف ایک جنگ نہیں تھی، بلکہ حق اور باطل کے درمیان وہ فیصلہ کن لکیر تھی جسے نواسۂ رسول حضرت امام حسین علیہ السلام نے اپنے خون سے کھینچا۔

یا اللہ! حُسینیت کو دوبارہ زندہ فرما۔ یزیدیت آج گھروں میں، دلوں میں، سوچوں میں، ایمانوں میں، بلکہ اب تو مساجد میں بھی سر اٹھا رہی ہے۔ آج عاشورہ، 10 محرم کے دن، میں نے جس مسجد میں جمعہ ادا کیا، وہاں نواسۂ رسول ﷺ حضرت امام حسینؓ کی عظیم قربانی اور پیغامِ کربلا کا کوئی ذکر نہ ہوا۔

@RadioGenoa "Conquered" implies military invasion. That's not happening anywhere. This isn't the 8th century. Muslims live as minorities in most countries.

France, Germany, UK, USA — also not being conquered. Because there's no conquest. Just citizens who happen to be Muslim. Calm down.

@SweeneySteve Hemingway saw the Eastern Front's horror firsthand. 27 million Soviet dead broke the Nazi back. Debt owed to soldiers. Not to Stalin's regime. Distinction matters.
Hemingway wrote that in 1948, fresh from covering WWII. He saw what the USSR did. But he never saw what Stalin did.

@jacksonhinkle Stalin helped defeat Hitler. Also: killed more of his own people than Hitler killed Jews. .He also starved millions in Ukraine, purged his own military, and signed a pact with Nazi Germany in 1939.
That's not a hero. That's a tyrant who picked a side.
