@HonestFrank How many rides are still remembered, talked about 33 years later. An artist at work.
Live for today, because tomorrow is promised to no one. RIP Brad
A closed season to protect pregnant hares was promised – where is the legislation?
“In the King’s Speech last week, the government quietly dropped a bill that would have finally given legal protection to hares after centuries of persecution”
Why????
Such a simple thing to save beautiful hares and their families

Yes this poor girl is near death, she's emaciated and very sick. The researchers and the BBC are completely ignorant of this fact, of course.
An ironic posterchild.
They claim using AI will help them achieve insights into the hedgehog's decline, when this photo is perfect evidence of what every *real* hedgehog expert already knows.
See that clear demarcation between head and body? That should never be seen - a healthy hedgehog is rounded, with no underlying structure visable.
She's emaciated, starving.
See how her coat is spikey and uneven?
That's neurological decline from sickness and malnourishment. Weakness prevents her from flexing the muscles required to keep her spines aligned. A healthy hedgehog pulls her spines into a tight, uniform dome for defense. (something they are cruelly prevented from doing when a transmitter has been superglued to them).
See how the spines on her flanks are laying flat?
That's evidence of extreme dehydration. This will prove fatal, because if she eats now, her body will have to divert whatever remaining moisture it has toward the stomach to digest the food, causing her vital organs to shut down.
THIS IS WHAT THE PUBLIC NEEDS TO KNOW.
That if they see a hedgehog out in the day she is hypothermic, extremely sick, and needs urgent treatment from a rescue (never a vet).
And that they must control their natural impulse to offer food, as that would be deadly. That they need to supply *contact warmth*.
That we need to allow natural food to grow in our gardens, and provide a safe source of water.
If even a fraction of the money spent on PR for this vanity scheme were spent on a public education campaign, we could halt, maybe even reverse the hedgehog's decline.
I asked AI why this conflict of interest might matter
And why it might be bad for you and me… this is so simple a fucking robot can understand the ethics of it
UPF companies have knowingly fed us fake food that makes us ill
And our goverment takes their side, not ours
Please don't make tonight the night you'll regret for the rest of your life.
Unlike most mammals, hedgehogs don't have the Fight or Flight Response to danger.
That means that no matter how frightened they are, they don't bite, and they don't run away.
Their response to danger is to curl up into a protective ball, and wait until the threat passes.
That's why so many get run over by approaching cars.
That's why so many are maimed and killed by approaching strimmers.
And that's why so many get burned alive in bonfires.
❌Poking a stick under the bonfire pile will just make the hedgehog inside curl into a ball.
Even if you touch her and hurt her, she won't move or make a sound.
❌Lighting it from one side will just make the hedgehog curl even tighter.
As the smoke fills her lungs and her coat begins to singe, she will freeze in place and wait for the danger to pass.
❌Shining a light under the bonfire will just make the hedgehog ball even tighter.
She'll stay silent and close her eyes so they don't reflect light and give her presence away.
The ONLY way to make a bonfire safe is to build it the same day you light it.
So if it's already built, you need to move today, before lighting it tonight.
Please stay safe, and make sure it's only the rockets that scream.
The @ruddingtonarms has shared this very sad news today. 😢

@KRennicks40@BenniferF Looking at results and I'm up to 8 ex-players scoring today. Crazy day. And a concerning one down the lane. Plan unclear and I don't trust the owners choice of crew steering the ship...
Some of you have followed this farm account for 16 years as we have attempted to work with nature and farm in a nature friendly way
🏞️protecting watercourses
🏞️improving species diversity
🏞️planting trees and regenerating woodlands
🏞️breeding native breeds at risk
All this work is currently threatened by the rumoured withdrawal of support for environmental stewardship by the government
We need a clear message that the public values this work.
Please RT
Nature Friendly Farming is vital for the natural environment and producing healthy food in the UK.
@tomhwilliams23 Having listened, can't help but feel he sells it like we signed players because of him and he was managing the team and doing all the tactics. So what were Stu and RM etc doing... Lies, ego or we will unravel?
