Another reason why the current debate about expanding CMS indications for CAS should be stopped. Expanding indications will result in more unnecessary and ultimately harmful transfemoral CAS. We shouldn’t exclude TCAR from this discussion.
@MaxJordan_N Agreed. It’s a strange situation all around to have some people crying tears of joy and others tears of despair while balloons and music play. There is a time and place to celebrate, but would be nice to do after some reflection and not in the midst of displays of raw emotion.
@OpenVsEndo@DrAliAzizzadeh I agree with above, but have had a series of emboli from thoracic aortic pedunculated thrombi, including seemingly normal aortas. Have been getting CTAs when Echo negative and no other obvious source.
