Here are my views on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I am pinning it here for all to read and reference back to at any point.
1. I support a two state solution. I believe the Camp David offer was the best one.
2. I support East Jerusalem becoming the capital of Palestine.
I am no fan of the Iranian regime or Hamas, but what on earth did Saudi Arabia do the last 2-3 years? Nothing. They did nothing. Their support of Palestinian aspirations for statehood is only in name, not in practice.
As Palestinians, we are grateful to the Saudi Arabia for refusing to abandon Palestinian aspirations for statehood.
One of our greatest mistakes was allowing a terrorist organization like Hamas to hold our people and our national cause hostage to the agenda of the criminal Islamic Republic of Iran.
He’s a Republican.
He’s 5’6.
He looks and acts 50, not 38.
And he’s exclusively going after the top 1% of women.
The best and most interesting matchmaker in the game is the lady doing it for free for Muslims on TikTok right now - and as she always says - you can want whatever you want, but the type you want has to want you back.
This is dumb because the tax only applies to people not paying income tax to New York because they’re pretending they don’t live here. So if they leave and sell their apartment New York doesn’t lose any income tax revenue, because they weren’t paying that anyway, but potentially gain a new resident that will pay income tax. It’s a win-win for the city.
Two months before she killed her children with exercise bands, Lindsay Clancy told her prescriber she was unable to determine what was real. Disoriented, forgetful, confused, disconnected.
They kept writing scripts.
Here's what she reported and what they gave her, in order.
Mid October 2022. A psychiatrist starts her on 25mg of Zoloft. Within days it's doubled to 50.
She reports she hasn't slept in 48 hours. Racing thoughts. Worsening anxiety.
20 October. She reports heart palpitations and says her mental health is getting worse.
They take her off the Zoloft and prescribe Ativan and Benadryl.
16 November. She goes to the ER with insomnia, anxiety and heart palpitations.
She's sent home with trazodone.
20 November. Her mother in law rings a perinatal behavioural health programme.
Lindsay tells them she's "very frustrated, scared" with extreme insomnia and racing thoughts. They prescribe Prozac.
24 November. She reports the Prozac is making her insomnia worse.
So they add Ambien, Remeron and Klonopin. Three more on top.
The very next day she tells the practitioner she's unable to determine what's real. Disoriented. Forgetful. Confused. Disconnected.
Nobody stops.
28 November. She's getting three hours of sleep. Disoriented and scared.
They prescribe Seroquel. Her husband testified last week that this is where "her big spiral started".
2 December. She reports she's suicidal and hearing things.
Three days later she rings a crisis hotline asking to be admitted. She's told she doesn't meet the criteria.
6 December. She and Patrick go back to the practitioner together. He tells them she's far worse since starting the Seroquel.
They increase the dose.
20 December. Back to the ER, suicidal. The next day she admits herself into a programme and is removed, because the doctor says she's just overmedicated and doesn't have a mental health issue.
She admits herself to a different hospital. She's discharged with trazodone.
10 January. A psychiatrist prescribes Valium, then amitriptyline.
On 24 January she reported hearing a male voice say: "This is your last chance. Kill the children so you can kill yourself."
Her kids were 5, 3 and 8 months.
13 psychiatric drugs in four months. She reported it was getting worse at every single stage and every single time the answer was another drug.
Not one person in that chain asked whether the treatment had become the illness.
This was not a mysterious psychiatric event appearing out of nowhere. It was a progressive collapse of brain function under postpartum stress, extreme insomnia, autonomic overdrive and relentless pharmacological interference.
The warning signs were explicit: racing thoughts, palpitations, worsening anxiety, disorientation, derealisation, suicidality and hallucinations. Yet every sign of deterioration was interpreted as a reason to add, switch or increase another drug.
Psychiatry cannot keep pretending that SSRIs, benzodiazepines, antipsychotics, sedating antidepressants and hypnotics are inert tools with no capacity to induce activation, akathisia, paradoxical reactions, delirium, withdrawal states or psychosis. These outcomes are documented, and this is not the first case in which severe behavioural disintegration followed escalating psychiatric polypharmacy.
The most disturbing fact is not that one clinician made one mistake but that an entire system repeatedly watched her lose contact with reality and still treated the worsening condition as proof that she needed more chemical suppression.
At some point, the treatment became part of the disease. The establishment does not want that sentence said out loud, which is exactly why it needs to be said louder.
Abdul, we were both on the ballot in 2018. I was capable of winning my competitive primary and general election. You lost.
You lost by over twenty points to Gretchen Whitmer and you will lose to Mike Rogers by talking like this.
Everyone in America understands you want to blame all of your problems on Jewish Americans.
But buddy, let me be very clear, I will lower the costs of groceries, ban stock trading for elected officials, stop Trump's abuses of power, and protect Michigan manufacturing.
And you’ll just be a celebrity whining and writing books to get even richer. You’re part of the complainer class, looking for their next book or podcast deal.
Bro, I just want to work for Michigan.
Dr. Fauci, who saved millions of lives in the USA, is getting treated harsher than all the Epstein perpetrators. USA is fundamentally damaged to its core.
@KatieMiller for clarity, you were communicating your pregnancy-covid fears in real time with Fauci because you were secretly keeping tabs on him/regarded him as an enemy?
Every man who has a journal is a narcissist.
Dr. Fauci was neither my friend nor my doctor, but a work colleague who weaponized my pregnancy and child for his gain to aggrandize himself.
As they say, keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
I can say with certainty after witnessing his con up close this man should be in prison.
Justice for the American People.
i don’t know why people are even fighting about this. basically the number one reason childfree people give as to why they don’t want kids is that they want their independence and free time. but when parents say “yeah kids, especially very young ones, take up all your free time” suddenly it’s “well i’m BUSY too, even BUSIER than you!!!” ok lol
"In my view, Mamdani’s and Netanyahu’s extreme views are just flip sides of the same coin".
Committing genocide is as extreme as demanding accountability for it.
@nytimes's star columnist, ladies and gentlemen.
The reason these attempts at snark from childless people don’t really work is that every person who has children was also at some point childless, so there is an experience asymmetry. I’ve been you, but you haven’t been me.
hating children and babies doesn’t make you edgy or cool it just kinda makes you a weird as fuck asshole. dehumanizing the most vulnerable population on earth and thinking they should be excluded from society is not the quirky take you think it is
There are no interviews with Chok Sung or his family; no profile, no statements. He’s still in the hospital. The Governor referred to him thoughtlessly and erroneously as “the second victim” of this spree attack. Blaming an Asian man’s stabbing on “divisiveness” is really odd.
y’all are letting american individualism melt your fucking brains oh my god hearing a baby cry while you’re getting coffee is not going to end your life. it’s part of being outside. in public. where people are. babies are people btw
