... and helped bridge the gap between the restless 80s and the wide-eyed 90s. Featuring remixes of 808 State, Frankie, Seal more, it was - and is - a triumph.
And so we reach the end of our journey. Fitting, then, to round off this series with one of our most influential and scene-shifting releases. Zance, an 11-track compilation released in 1994, marked A Decade of Dance...
One of the weirder moments of pop genius, even by our standards, came when @artofnoiseoffic teamed up with Max Headroom, for Paranoimia; a throbbing, squelching floor-filler that monologues its way through the paranoid insomnia of its main character.

"You fill my sweetest dreams
You fill my sleep
You fill my heart with love
You make my life complete
When all is said and done
Darling I know you're the one"
Recorded for the 1995 picture Circle Of Friends, You're The One was a one-off. A darling duet from two of Ireland's most unique and celebrated voices; The Pogues' @ShaneMacGowan and @ClannadMusic's Moya Brennan, proof that sometimes solitary songs are among the most sublime.
On this day in '86, @artofnoiseoffic descended upon The Tube for a showstopping serenade. Do feel free to enjoy Paranoimia, and many of their other works, at https://t.co/n9SgmlLZaQ.
Responsible for sleeves of Frankie Goes To Hollywood and Art Of Noise, as well as OMD, Wham! and more, we also entrusted Tom with designing the interior of our studios at Sarm Studios. We miss him.
Tom was a master. When he wasn't busy managing guiding the careers of Pet Shop Boys, Bros and East 17 (to name but a few), he was also creating the iconic ZTT aesthetic; ensuring we weren't just the best pop label around, but the most stylish.
On This Day in 1988 they released their final single, I Can't Escape From You, and, with it, their cover of The Smiths' Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now. Listen to both today at https://t.co/DSWAkLJHs2.
A-Z(TT): an encyclopedic journey through our history. W means Wishful Thinking, and the music of Propaganda.
"And refashioning the fashioned, lest it stiffen into iron, is work of endless vital activity."
Such read the liner notes of Wishful Thinking, the 1985 Propaganda remix record, released with the clubbing youth of the USA firmly at the forefront of minds. Over thirty years on its late-night, bright-light ethos still holds strong, inducing viscerality from start to cease.
