The 9/11 Memorial "Tear Drop" sit's directly across from NYC, in Bayonne New Jersey, just the other side of the Statue of Liberty, yet we hear nothing about it.

This beautiful, 100 ft tall monument was gifted to the people of the United States by the people of Russia in 2006, in memory of all those who lost their lives on that fateful day, September 11, 2001.

The breaking in the cracked façade forms the shape of the two towers.
The giant suspended tear drop signifies the tears of the entire world that day.

Maybe it's something that needs to be known, starting today.

That's Brazil. Connecticut just passed its own homeschooling law, requiring parents to file annual disclosure forms that feed directly into a state registry, along with a mandated list of subjects. Want to pull your child from public school to homeschool instead? The law now requires a background check from the superintendent's office first.

Nobody's going to prison in Connecticut yet. But the same instinct, the state deciding what counts as an acceptable education and who's allowed to opt out, is already written into law here.

They took the collective output of human thought, compressed it into a model, and now they want to charge you by the token to access a version of what you and everyone you know already created.

Imagine if someone photocopied every book in the public library, burned the library down, and then opened a subscription service for the copies.

That's the metered intelligence business model.

And they're pitching it to infrastructure investors as though they invented water.
