Don't forget that SA doesn't manufacture its own vehicles or aircrafts for example, and a section of expatriates are often needed to get things going. Their absence has actually stifled employment .

@BusiMavuso2 I often find your take on public matters refreshing. We do not often hear solutions to the backlog. For most, it's easy to say 'do not extend the validity' because it is populist to say so. Very few opinions, if any, proffer the procedurally right solution, clearing the backlog.
