bang here's my work for the chorus, doing a continuous cut like this was very satisfying

and a peak at the storyboard for this part, I kept it very bare and simple because I was going to into 3D land for it. still pretty crazy to me how this strip of drawings turned into what it did, and it's definitely the most impressive (and most difficult) cut I've done so far

here's the "animatic" and rough pass of this cut! we always intended to use 3D to make the most of this scene, so I learned some blender to make this really ugly video to rotoscope with. getting out of 3D though I was able to fix up all the jank and make something I'm happy with
