Until you’re ready to say,
“God, I trust you with this.”
And then truly leave your need in His hands— trusting that God will answer in His time, and in His way—
You will not move one step further toward victory.
Pray, then rest.
Pray for your Church.
Pray for your involvement.
Pray for the people God has called you to.
Pray for the leadership.
Pray for unity.
Pray for the future.
Pray for Christ to be lifted high!
When you pray, and pray, and pray for a change in circumstances, but change isn’t coming…
Generally that means God is looking to change YOU through your circumstances.
In the Gospels, you’ll find that the more people were aware of their sin and shame, the faster they came to Christ.
People like:
-Matthew
-Zacchaeus
-Mary Magdalene
-The Woman at the Well
All came to Christ lightening fast.
It was the self-righteous who had problems.
Every continued decision has an ultimate destination.
Take a hard look at your opinions, your actions, your emotions, your habits and ask, “If this were a road, where would it take me if I just kept walking?”
Then, if it’s not a good road, change it.
If there were 3 rules you could follow that would guarantee you a better life… Would you want to know what they were?
That’s what I’ll be talking about tonight @lakeworthbaptist
7pm
There are all kinds of prayers:
Hard Prayers
Short Prayers
Long Prayers
Confused Prayers
Simple Prayers
But if Biblical, there are no Insignificant Prayers…
“Now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…” Eph 3:20
Keep praying
@PastorPitman Thanks!
I got back on hoping for a new environment after EM’s takeover.
I’ve loved the platform in the past. It requires concise thought… I love that kind of challenge.
