Back in 2014, there was a man who was already aware of the irregularities involving Manchester City. That man now runs FIFA. The infamous Gianni Infantino, then UEFA General Secretary, abused his authority, shared confidential documents and, in short, outmanoeuvred the Investigatory Chamber, doing everything in his power to ensure that both Manchester City and PSG would merely receive a fine, avoiding a deeper investigation that could have led to a Champions League ban. All of these details were also revealed through Football Leaks.
Given his actions as UEFA General Secretary and, more recently, as FIFA President, I can only say, in my humble opinion, that Gianni Infantino has become a cancer on football and should have no place in the future of the game.
Cheated as a player caught doping, cheated at Barcelona, then involved in the biggest cheating scandal in history of English football at Man City, only place he didn’t cheat was at Bayern and didn’t win the UCL there.
He can fuck off, stained career and dead legacy.
City actually have statues of players outside the stadium who have never won any trophies.
This is like us sticking up a statue of Tyler Blackett or Paddy McNair. They won the same.
It's worth noting that Manchester City fans paid actual money for a banner lauding the work of a high profile barrister.
The man in question, Lord Pannick, went on to win 1 (one) out a possible 115 charges.
Pannick in the streets of London, indeed.
Pep will forever be remembered in England for his part in City's cheating.
You must be fucking stupid if you really think he had no clue what was going on.
Sir Alex will always be the greatest. ❤️
For this very reason alone Pep Guardiola can never go down as the best in the premier league. Stains on his career everywhere he has gone.
This should end the stupid pep v sir alex debate once and for all.
Destiny lives
All content will be unvaulted. New games are coming in the future
Vocal player pushback and showing up for Monument of Triumph was a big factor in this happening
Have never seen a reversal quite like this. Incredible
Ironic that Rupert Lowe who led Southampton to their first relegation in 27 years, put massive stadium debt on the club, failed to get promoted, resigned after fan protests, then returned as chairman 2 years later, and led the club into administration….is attacking a United fan group and he’s protecting the just as incompetent Jim Ratcliffe
Maybe sit this one out you rat 🐀
I don't think many actually realise how big a talent JJ is. We're not talking Garnacho, Rashford etc. We're talking Yamal, Mbappe potential. If we aren't showing a pathway to development and the first team then you will 100% lose these talents to clubs who will. It's that simple
I didn’t realise people are using this situation as a stick to beat Ineos / the club with. I’d accept any opportunity to do that but this isn’t one. There’s problems wherever JJ goes and there’s one prime common denominator.
