A singles hitter who hits .300 but has an ops of .700 is an average hitter. But a player with .900 ops and a .240 average is extremely valuable. Who would you pick

@DTM254ME @LewBob69_ @JustBB_Media @BetMGM Bobby crosby and his .239 avg in 2004 would like a word. Batting average is a very flawed stat compared to obp, ops, ops+, or wRC+. It treats all hits the same and doesn't account for walks, hbp. It's an antiquated stat that holds little merit these days.

Saggese could've been the most underrated prospect in the Rangers system. Has raked at every stop, can play all over the infield, well above average feel to hit, sneaky pop. Dare I say shades of Brendon Donovan?

Roby is a talented arm, mid 90s fastball, nasty curve, slider and changeup have flashed as well.

Injuries have really limited him. Elbow in 2021, currently in IL with a shoulder.
