So @MrsTominaj inspired our next project, exploring Newton’s first law of motion, the spherical pendulum, gravity and inertia. Thanks, Laura. #STEAMlearners.
SAY GOODBYE to explaining station directions more than once! Thanks to the new @Flipgrid AR feature, students can scan the QR code and hear the directions as many times as they might need! I will never go back!! 🤓😍 @MidwayISD@SVEmisd#FlipgridFever 💚
Last uni assignment ever completed and submitted 🎉🥳. Wonder what to do with this extra free time?. Excited for graduation 🎓 and to see what the future holds #acuedu_p
Here’s a little STEM task that can be used in the classroom. Students create a structure out of 25 toothpicks and blue tack, that can withstand 3 shakes of the earthquake simulator. “Better luck next year “to the tissue box #unsuccessful. #acuedu_p
Finally resurfacing after completing my GTPA🥳, keen to see my friends and family again #exitghostmode. One more assignment to go then I’ll finally be able to say I’ve finished uni 🎉👨🏫 #lessgrow#ACUedu_p

In Math stage 3 have been given the challenge to use 3-D object nets to create new buildings for the school. Students will first create the buildings, and then give a brief explanation as to what you may find inside. Can’t wait to see the finished product #acuedu_p

This term in visual arts stage 3 have been completing a photography unit of work. Each week students have a new photo focus e.g. nature, which guides what they must take photos of. The unit incorporates photo taking, camera techniques , photoshop, and reflecting #acuedu_p
Can’t believe it’s week 6/7. I have learnt so much on this prac thanks to my amazing mentor and class. Can’t wait to learn more and enjoy my final weeks with my 5/6 class 😄👨🏫 #acuedu_p
Appreciated how seriously my 5/6 students took these activities. R U OK? day was a great opportunity to talk about caring for each other and making sure students ask the question, R U OK? #acuedu_p
Tomorrow is R U OK? day! I will be teaching some fun and informative activities to my year 5/6 students about the importance of looking out for one another and lending support. #acuedu_p

Stage 3 soaked up the sun 🌞 and showed off their own teaching skills in math today. Students worked in groups to label the parts of a circle. Once they had drawn their circle they then had to record themselves explaining each part of the circle #ACUedu_p
@shirleynguyen__ We watched a quick YouTube tutorial on how to make it. But basically it’s paper origami to make each section ,we then glued the 4 sections together. https://t.co/8EnU6pIkZo <—- that’s the link for the YouTube tutorial, hope it helps 🙂
Stage 3’s three levels of government trioramas. This was an awesome hands on activity used as an introduction to the topic of Australian government #History#acuedu_p
Had an incredible time Incorporating the 3-D printer into stage 3’s Father’s Day craft👨🏼🎨👨🏽💻. What an impressive piece of machinery that thing is ,but nothing was more impressive than the fantastic job the kids did creating these little beauties⬇️ #lessgrow#acuedu_p
100% agree with this. Feel like this relates to life in general, if you understand why you are doing are doing something you automatically become more motivated. Definitely a strategy that should be incorporated into the classroom #lessgrow#acuedu_p
