Meta and X, every other thing is an ad. Pinterest is nothing but ads. AI is in everything. AI finishes sentences incorrectly and won’t stop. AI reads your email and search history to target you with more ads. Every time you open an app or visit a site there’s an update making it worse. In a hurry? First, click here to agree to terms you don’t have time to read and must accept. You need an account to do that. Change your temporary password. Enter your 2FA code. Check your email and enter that code. Now use a passkey. Your password is too simple to remember. Change it. No, not like that. Now log on. Enter your 2FA code. Check your email for a code… Welcome back! We’ve updated our terms of service and privacy policy (you have none). Subscribe to the site. Subscribe to Netflix. Subscribe to toilet paper. That info is circulating now, too. Here’s a spam call, a spam email, a spam text. Why are you angry? Why are you talking about getting rid of your phone? Why don’t you like AI, it lets us make all of this easier? Do you know how ridiculous that sounds? This is progress. You’ll be left behind. Do you want to be left behind? Do you???
Good on @Microsoft for listening to their community and adjusting the pricing on @XboxGamePass to better reflect the actual needs of said community. Feel like they deserve a massive ‘atta boy on this one. Always been an XBOX gamer, this just confirms (again) I’ll stay one!
Galadriel’s Rage Isn’t Un-Elven — It’s Canon
Some fans saw Galadriel’s fury in “The Rings of Power” as out of character — too aggressive, too human. But Tolkien himself painted a much more fiery Galadriel in her early years.
“She was proud, strong, and selfwilled, as were all the descendants of Finwë… she dreamed of far lands and dominions that might be her own to order as she would.” — The Silmarillion, “The History of Galadriel and Celeborn”
And in his letters, Tolkien adds:
“Her pride was not yet humbled… she had long distrusted and disliked Fëanor, but in this matter she was like him: eager to leave Valinor and to find a land where she could be free and rule.” — The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien, Letter #348
The show doesn’t rewrite Galadriel — it reveals who she once was. Before Lothlórien’s wisdom came the raw fire of rebellion and pride. Her pursuit of Sauron, her refusal to go West, her mistrust of authority — they’re not inventions. They’re echoes of the same spirit that once left Aman behind.
This isn’t a Galadriel who betrays canon. It’s a Galadriel Tolkien began writing — and one we’re finally seeing in full.

@PlayoffMem Shack is a dawg. Definitely bringing some much needed grit to the team. From all reports a fabulous teammate and a stand up guy all around. Hope they continue to let him develop.
All the goobs filling up the prerelease for @wizards_magic FF set are just supporting wrecking our game with more cash grab outside IPs. Spider-Man and Marvel will be no different. Soon MtG will be supplanted as the go-to tcg, for it no longer has a real identity, just more ads.
