Halverson has exploded onto the scene this fall, now sitting in the low 90s and touching 92.4 mph. The freshman right-hander looks like an immediate impact arm for Ellsworth.

Lean, projectable 6’4”, 177-lb frame with long limbs and room to add strength. Works with an easy, athletic delivery — high leg lift, direct down the mound, loose full-circle arm from a lower ¾ slot. Fastball sat 89–90 mph (T92.4), showing 16.6 IVB with life through the zone. Slider at 77–78 mph spun at 2500 RPM with short, late sweep. Filled the zone, attacked hitters, and turned in a clean inning. One of the more intriguing @PB_JUCO arms in Iowa.
