“And whenever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, so that they may be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. But whenever you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you" (Mt 6:5).
My debut World Cup… it hurts to wait 4 years to compete at the highest level our sport has to offer. I want to say sorry to our fans it was not good enough when it mattered most and we let you down
Soccer in America will only become bigger the belief, the talent, and the passion is continually growing and I know the best days are in front of us, the future belongs to those who never stop believing, this moment will fuel us. We will be back
Why not us?
For the nation. For the flag.

James Talarico hasn't use his campaign rallies and town halls to disparage or manufacture lies about his primary opponent. He has repeatedly called for respect for Congresswoman Crockett. And even when people have exercised their First Amendment right to ignore his request, he has stood firm in his personal conviction and in his promise not to run a negative campaign against her.
James Talarico is a better man than me.
If I were him, I would have aired Jasmine Crockett's embarrassing remarks about the Latino and migrant communities in ads, non-stop.
If I were him, I would have reminded the congresswoman that I’m a former language arts teacher and I would have given her an F-minus for using ChatGPT to construct her issues page and releasing it without any peer review.
If I were James, I would have embarrassed Ms. Crockett for entrusting her campaign to an unqualified Southeast Asian man who happily says the N-word while representing a beautifully Black-staffed campaign in hopes of galvanizing Texas’s Black voters.
But that isn’t James Talarico. He isn’t petty.
He cares deeply about us — Texans — and about how much our lives matter for the survival of our democracy and of the human race.
He wants Texas and the nation liberated from the tyranny of a pedophilic billionaire class, the corporations they run, and the corrupt politicians they fund.
He wants to expand healthcare to all Texans so we can live healthier lives.
He wants to protect Texas's urban and rural communities, and her natural resources from the theft of AI data centers.
Texas deserves a senator who consciously rises above the battlefield to put working-class Texans front and center of public policy; reflecting our love for each other here and abroad and our commitment to our nation's motto: "E Pluribus Unum — Out of many, One."
Primaries are brutal. But this ginned-up chaos from Californians, Floridians, and Georgians who know next to nothing about Texas politics is something else entirely.
Our autonomy must be respected.
That love of freedom was inherited to us by our mother, Mexico. We kept hold of that freedom even as we were annexed into the union.
We neglected our freedom when we upheld the scourge of slavery, but found it again on the shores of Galveston on June 19, 1865.
Deep down in my heart, I want the angels of my fellow Texans’ better nature to choose Talarico’s moral certitude over a political cult of personality so we can focus taking back our freedoms from the Christofascists in power. ✌🏾
EVERYONE PLEASE READ🚨 there are some horrible and disgusting people in this city who are trying to assault women in our community. Trash cans are being marked with zip ties to mark houses with women in them. Be careful removing them and lock every door in your house.
