🚨🤯 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Everything that has happened in the last few days, prior to the start of the World Cup:
• Switzerland's Embolo had visa issues and could only join the team days later.
• Iraq striker Aymen Hussein was questioned for almost 7 hours after arriving in the United States.
• Iran spent days dealing with visa problems before the World Cup. Fifteen members of their delegation were denied visas.
• CAF's 2025 African Referee of the Year, Omar Artan, was denied entry to the U.S. and sent back home. FIFA confirmed he would miss the tournament.
• South Africa arrived much later than planned because some members of the delegation could not get visas.
• Senegal staff members were subjected to long searches and forced to remove their shoes, leading to accusations of racism.
• Uzbekistan's team was searched with bomb-sniffing dogs, with videos spreading around the world.
• Some Scotland fans had their ESTA travel authorisations cancelled just days before departure.
• Many fans who had already bought tickets and booked hotels had their visa applications rejected, losing large amounts of money.
We took Brighton’s manager, took their players, took their staff, took their model. Brighton are currently bullying us out there tonight to go above us in the league.
Fair enough.
@BHAgullski@ryanadsett Think that’s the same reason they haven’t moved the away end next season as we were told. Scared if they force to move people they will give their ticket back
@SayersBHAFC Debatable, hasn’t looked like it for a few weeks. Think a bit of realisation set in that we’re in a relegation battle and it’s obviously not in the players interest to get relegated. Got the 3 points so no complaints but still don’t think they’re playing for him
Genuinely don’t think we was very good in first half of the season. So many games would walk away saying we was only good for a half but still got a result. Now we’re shit and not getting results
