We are looking to hire a technician/research assistant for our lab at Cincinnati Children's. Would love to hire someone with C. elegans experience! Great people, great pay and benefits! Please share! https://t.co/ejb6y6Nc9G
I teach an undergrad molecular biology course with @BobbyJEyeGuy and one end-of-semester assignment is to make a meme or other creative project. They are amazing and many people gave permission to share them. A thread:
@iaincheeseman As a postdoc, I explained my position to computer scientist friend. He said "You get paid to do research full-time? That's amazing!". This really helped shift my perspective. It is pretty amazing that we get paid to do research!
I am presenting a poster at Society for Developmental Biology 80th Annual Meeting. You can watch a 5 min walk on our work about the role of cell fate in programming cell movements anytime at: https://t.co/41bicCh5tv
@NeedhiBhalla I think you mentioned your DEI talk from #worm21 would be posted to YouTube. Is it up yet? You had such an important and well stated message that I want to share with the decision-makers at my institution.
We are loving the panel discussion at #worm21! I hope this becomes a new tradition!
Also, someone should do an oral history of the worm community. Anyone want to start a podcast?
