Next for #TeacherTuesday, we are highlighting Mr. Jacob Trujillo, a social studies teacher at Barry and June Gunderson Middle School.

He was part of the inaugural staff that opened Gunderson 4 years ago, and he has developed into one of Gunderson's teacher leaders.
Mr. Trujillo builds excellent relationships with his students and colleagues. He engages students with critical thinking, empathy, and a passion for teaching and learning. He creates an environment where curiosity and voices are heard. He has created a supportive learning environment in his classroom and you can feel it as soon as you enter.

We appreciate you, Mr. Trujillo!

The gratitude I get from our hardworking community of paraprofessionals, is more than I deserve but it definitely fills my bucket!

I’m sad it took 18 years, but I’m glad we’re fixing the system by identifying barriers & blowing them away!

I can’t wait to hand him his diploma!❤️
