We struggled to rent another van, as companies feared police action.
So we bought our own.
Our van has already been attacked, but we will not be silenced.

@leostrupczewski Ultimately ended in us closing down the company was that Shopify wouldn’t allow us to bypass their checkout so we weren’t able to take a commission on sales. I still think given the right niche this type of marketplace would flourish

We actuall launched a fully integrated shopify marketplace a few years ago.
We built a custom shopify app so that sellers could manage every aspect of their store, listings, returns and customer messages right from their shopify dashboard.
@leostrupczewski You’re spot on, signing up vendors was the easy part as barriers to entry were low (we just took commission on sales).
The key hook for consumers was that we only allowed small to medium size Austrian brands, Aussies love buying their own brands.
