A hill I’ll die on: if the job can be done remotely without issue, requiring an office presence isn’t about performance, it’s about control and optics.
As someone who has implemented a Work from Wherever (WFW) policy for their team, I am telling you if you or your team can do work from a laptop, there is no reason for you to insist that your employees/team be at the office 100% of the week. It's honestly counter productive.
