We must acknowledge this. But so did Japanese internment. US prisons. Korea. Vietnam. And so much more. Gulags had a max sentence of 10 years. How are we doing?

@YourMuthr Yep. The Soviet government was more progressive than the US. Lenin legalized homosexuality almost a century before the US did. Even under the dictators like Stalin, many people of color spoke of feeling safer in the USSR than in the US. We have always been the bad guys.
