@Tipsall001 My first thought is 2021 but then looking at 2011 I think the point is that he doesn’t have scars on his back. The 2011 version really highlights that!
@SaffronOlive Can you explain your rationale on why you think these cards should be banned? I can understand both to an extent but want to hear what you think and where you’re coming from.
Christians are being massacred in Syria. Churches burned. Priests executed. Families wiped out. And the West is silent. This is the greatest Christian persecution of our time—and the media won’t tell you. Let’s expose the truth. 🧵👇 1/13
@PWPMtG On the bright side, the format feels new again. Decks like Plagon are good. There is so much opportunity for new decks that have never had a chance to win to do so, I like the new meta. Granted, I also liked the RogSi/Blue Farm Show too
It’s been a long time coming, but according to Body Mass Index, I’m officially out of the underweight range. Barely, but I’m out. I cannot believe it, so stoked!
JUST IN: Jonathan Lewis, a teenage boy who was beaten up by 15 students at a high school in Las Vegas, Nevada had died.
Throw them all in prison for life.
According to the boy's father, the brutal beating happened after 17 year old Jonathan Lewis stood up for one of his "smaller friends."
"A couple (of kids) attacked him, and they weren’t able to hurt him enough, and they all attacked him at once," the father, Jonathan Lewis said.
In an emotional interview with a local news station, Lewis' father remembered his son, saying he was a quiet kid and they had plans to move to Austin, Texas together.
"I just love my children with all my heart, and it’s just unimaginable that we could ever come to this point," Lewis, said.
"I think there’s just a failure of all of humanity to recognize that we need to be teaching our youth how to coexist."
Lewis had kept his son on life support hoping for a miracle.
Lewis was an artist and was considering joining the United States Navy like his grandfather.
Devastating.
@SonRebell 2/2 with that said I’m not super familiar with Cormela. I’ve been dabbling with RogSi, which has the advantage of a 0 cmc commander. With that said I imagine the Grixis core is roughly the same, with Cormela perhaps being more interested in powerhouse cards like Oppo.
@SonRebell 1/2 I think I’d go to 4. This hand has a lot of mana but no card draw/payout. I understand that you can whiff at 4 and be in an even worse position, but ultimately feel that having a piece of fast mana + draw engine/tutor would be more likely to get you into a winning position.
@Dredg3MTG@Varondus@alsonamedjosh It’s pretty clear to me. If you have no way to pay for the pact trigger, you are in effect saying that I don’t want this player to win, and would rather see another player win. If the combo occurs on your turn and you can win then by all means otherwise I wouldn’t do it.
@golgariguy Personally I love the phrase “tuned” . It implies a consistent list that has obvious goals that it actively works toward. I understand that “tuned” can refer to a variety of power levels but feel that this can be fixed by adding “high power tuned/ fringe cEDH”
