This isn’t your average sci-fi. With virtually no dialogue, every creak, every shadow, and every panicked breath is pure, gut-wrenching tension. An underrated sci-fi horror, highly recommended!!

I feel like we moved on from this way too fast. like, who IS Rosie really? Why does she care so much about Charlie and co? HOW could she make Alastor the most powerful sinner? Why did she call his soul special? What is her plan? We KNOW she (and Alastor) have one…
🔥🚨BREAKING: Chevrolet is getting a lot of positivity online after releasing a powerful Christmas ad about the Nuclear American Family dynamic which is a strong change from Woke culture that Americans have become accustomed to.
Theory: Roo, the Root of All Evil, is a controlling being of all present sinners' actions, even tapping into the negative energy of those who are in the process of falling (e.g. Lute), but trapped in a realm of sorts. She may be piloting Rosie's body like a puppet, or she may be an entirely separate entity using the eyes all around Hell to watch her domain. Until she's set free and the universe becomes her personal version of Hell, the cycle of souls into Heaven and Hell has largely been reliant on her parasitic powers--one has to wonder if she's also the arbiter of who gets redeemed by releasing a sinner entirely of sin, and no force of good (God) has actually been watching over all souls for some time.
Roo's eyes have mainly been watching Charlie and Alastor's escapades, with even more of her eyes populating areas of greater sin and decay (e.g. ground zero of the old hotel). It's interesting to note in S1 that there were none of her eyes inside the old hotel except in the bathroom in Alastor's commercial (where it was theorized that Angel Dust was keeping his drug stash), nor any actual eyes in Cannibal Town (only two instances in a building window design and bedframe design in Rosie's room).
S2E6 was the first time we got to see Roo's perspective watching Angel Dust in the motel room, only to be conflated with Vox's POV in the next shot. This could be a hint that she has found her avatar in Vox, a sinner with an extensively evil resume. I believe she is capable of fully possessing those closest to her embodiment of sin, the further the sinner falls. The sinners that are going out of control are doing her greatest bidding, infected by her egoistic goal to "taunt Heaven" for revenge, to eventually rise up strong enough. It is like a deal being made, to swap places and kill everyone who stood in her way. I believe Lucifer was possessed when he was about to kill Adam, and with how Vox lost his mind ready to kill everyone and himself with Lucifer's powers.
As I mentioned before, I theorized that Alastor's overarching goal is to kill Roo and bring about his own justice, to destroy the existence of sin in the first place, in hatred for others' sins and his own. I worry about him getting infected by her curse further than before next season, as he vies for the title of strongest being in Hell, unstable, angry, and isolated. If he does lose himself, like Vox, I believe Charlie will be the one who can bring him back to his senses. As a counterpoint, Charlie too is infected with Roo's powers, likely by blood or magic in how she was presumably conceived (see my living puppet theory). Will Charlie be strong enough to overcome Roo, or give in to sin? If anyone can destroy Roo’s curse, it’s ultimately Charlie--and if anyone can amplify her power of song into a weapon capable of killing Roo, it’s Alastor.
Now that Alastor knows Lucifer's secret weakness--being unable to harm sinners (and he reaffirmed how gullible he is to simple tricks), but also knows his immense power--I propose that Alastor is keeping a sharp watch on him to prevent another devastation that Vox caused. Lucifer can't be entrusted with the throne, and we can possibly see Alastor making a power grab eventually, or backing down from the opportunity at the last minute, finding out it's not what he needs. Alastor always gave me the impression he knows a lot more about Lucifer than he lets on, he seemed pretty unfazed about his secret in S2E7 since he probably already knew, and that's why he felt comfortable enough to goad him in S1E5, not just with Charlie there as his "protection."
Who knows what else Lucifer's hiding, knowingly or unknowingly...which brings me to restate my theory about Roo using Lucifer as a conduit for evil. Surely Charlie's fairy tale version of Hell's story is embellished in some fashion. If Eve (possibly also Rosie) turns out to be Roo, it would make sense for her to want revenge on Lucifer for being led to temptation and on Lilith for taking away Lucifer from her in her infatuation with him (since it's heavily hinted Lucifer slept with Eve), and/or for taking Charlie away from her, her presumably real daughter.
Whoever Rosie turns out to be, she's the one who has been giving Alastor most of the information behind the Morningstars for years. I don't really subscribe to the theory that Rosie is Lilith anymore, but I think Alastor knows Lilith through some means. Imagine Lilith returning to the hotel and Alastor senses something isn't right with Lucifer and ends up having to protect her and Charlie...
As Viv stated in a recent interview, there is a character "who's been built up as sort of a friendly face, or an anti-hero, a character who is on the right side for the first two seasons, getting to step into a villain role." I believe she could be talking about Lucifer here. Then in the next part she talks about "the nuance and the real motivation behind a very trickstery, devious character who has his own agenda that's much more sinister in season 3." This I believe is Alastor. Alastor, the established anti-hero choosing the necessary evil and sacrificing himself to protect his and Charlie's hotel from Lucifer, mentoring Charlie even to bring her closer to his side, playing up his image only to take the throne for himself, could be his rise and fall, eventually falling for the power the bonds he created along the way.
