I really dislike today’s hoop culture. The game is being played for highlights, rather than to win. Anyone that loves hoop has the responsibility to protect it. Take pride in this game, it shouldn’t be used for clickbait. #hoopers#hoop#basketball
God finds ways to put you right where he needs you. Closed doors are often redirection. I am where I belong. This community is special and I love giving back to the basketball culture here. #porterville#basketball Also, these two show how old I am getting. #family
If you love it, give everything to it. Your heart, soul, sweat, tears. Give it when you’re tired, sick, heartbroken. The momentary discomfort fades, but that thing you love will flourish. When you love it, you show up, regardless of how you feel.

Stop looking at the college scene as the same one we grew up watching and playing in. It’s changed, a lot. Either adapt or get out. Simple. #ncaa#hoops#basketball
Basketball has always been my escape. This year it became God’s way of healing me. My team became my anchor. They didn’t need me, I needed them. It’s so much more than a game.
Coaching is HARD. Teaching is HARD. X’s and O’s are HARD. When you win, you’re a GENIUS. When you lose, you’re an IDIOT. You’re going to put in far more TIME and EFFORT than your kids. However, if you can hammer home the LIFE LESSONS that sports teach, it’s all worth it. #coach
Got to coach my son for the first time in a varsity basketball game. I’d been dreaming of this day for 15 years. Blessings are abundant. I know my Mom was so happy somewhere up there. Thank you God.
